rainy day

walking downtown today was so nice. the sky was dreary and there was a rain so faint that it reminded me of a $15 bottle of evian in an aerosol can that i bought years ago to mist my face with. yes, i know, $15 for water? i have dry skin. back to the rain though. the mist rain. i was wearing my glasses and they were getting a little misty themselves but the feeling of that rain on my face brought a genuine smile across my lips that ive been hard to come by lately. misty rainy day + otis redding's 'try a little tenderness' = simply nice.

when i got off work the mist had turned to rain but i mustered up the courage to brave my camera for a few shots.
